After researching my family for numerous years I have learned one very important lesson. When researching your Irish ancestors, patience is the key! It was many years before I got my first clue to take my family into Ireland. The sad thing is my grandfather was the second generation born in America. You would think someone would have had the information I was looking for. The sad truth was, no one did. Not the family I knew or the family I found.

As I have spent many hours at my local Irish center learning and assisting others, I have decided to create a database for researching Irish immigrants. The following pages will have links specific to each county, as well as some great resources to learn more about the history of each area. Please feel free to peruse the following pages for information.
